The two core members of London band the Hours have served time in some of Britpop's popular bands of the 1990s. Antony Genn (guitar, vocals) played in Pulp and toured with Elastica, while Martin Slattery (keyboard) toured with Black Grape. Both worked with Joe Strummer & the Mescaleros. Unfortunately for Genn, his lifestyle had led to a serious drug addiction, which caused his health to deteriorate.
