Punkers the Teeth formed sometime in 2002 around Ann Arbor, MI. Vocalist Dave Reminick and drummer Andrew Tholl met through Tholl's girlfriend at the time. Sharing similar interests in rock and experimental music, away from the stuffiness and rigidness of music school, Reminick and Tholl decided to start a band. Guitarist Pete Soppelsa entered the fold after a night of karaoke, and the three decided to get together to play.
