The Dutch winners of the 1975 Eurovision Song Contest, Teach In were formed in 1969 in Enschede around a line-up of twin vocalists Hilda Felix and Henk Westendorp, guitarist John Snuverink, bassist Frans Schaddelee, keyboard player Koos Versteeg, and drummer Rudi Nijhuis. Never boasting a stable line-up, by 1972 only Versteeg and Nijhuis remained on board, to be joined by vocalists Gettie Kaspers and Ard Weenink, guitarist Chris de Wolde, and bassist John Gaasbeek.
