German rock outfit Silbermond formed in Bautzen in 2000. Lead vocalist Stefanie "Pony" Kloß, guitarist Thomas "Ratte" Stolle, bassist Johannes "Hannes" Stolle, and drummer Andreas "Nowi" Nowak previously teamed in a local choir project dubbed Ten Sing.
