Rapper, producer, and frontman Jesto (born Neil Mathis II) founded Southern rap group the Faculty with members Ro-Stylez, Currency, and Judo in the late '90s. The Atlanta-based crew hit up many of the local clubs before being discovered by newly formed label JamTam Entertainment, who acquired the quartet as its first signees in 2001.
