The Birmingham, Alabama-based hard rock quartet Brother Cane was formed in 1990 by singer/guitarist Damon Johnson and bassist Glen Maxey; originally called Chyld, the group's line-up was soon complete with the addition of guitarist Roman Glick and drummer Scott Collier.
