Founded in San Diego by vocalist Veronica Freeman and guitarist Pete Wells, heavy metal quartet Benedictum released their first album, Uncreation, in 2006. The two founders, having previously worked together in the band Malady, roped in Blackie Sanchez and Chris Morgan to round out their early lineup and record the demo that would lead to a deal with Locomotive Records, which would finally lead to their aforementioned debut.
