A founding member of indie hip-hop troupe the Procussions, Mr. J. Medeiros, aka Jason Medeiros, is a progressive-minded MC whose passionate rhymes have subtle hints of spirituality. Before forming the Procussions in 1997, he had been a rhyme-battling MC, a graffiti artist, a DJ, and a voracious beat-maker since high school.
