Cashing in on a mutual love for sunny psychedelic pop, London-based singer Mauro and drummer Onyee started writing tunes in that vein as early as 2004. They called their outfit Sunny Day Sets Fire (taken from an Internet band name generator) and began releasing some meticulously crafted pop singles.
