Neverland -- or rather, Dreamtone & Iris Mavraki's Neverland, to spell out their full name -- was formed in 2006 by the members of Turkish progressive/power metal band Dreamtone, namely vocalist Oganalp Canatan, guitarists Onur Ozkoc and Burak Kahraman, keyboardist Guney Ozsan, bassist Can Dedekarginoglu, and drummer Emrecan Sevdin, along with veteran Greek singer Iris Mavraki. And, thus far, this rare pan-Aegean alliance has spawned two albums of truly byzantine and grandiose metallic pomp: 2008's Reversing Time and 2010's Ophidia. ...
