Producers Volker Lutz and Thorsten Brenda formed the aggressive industrial project Evil's Toy in 1992. After recording their debut album Human Refuse, the duo had trouble finding a contract until the German Hyperium/Hypnobeat label stepped in and released it in 1995. Metropolis Records picked up stateside distribution, and also released Lutz and Brenda's follow-up, Morbid Mind. The third album, XTC Implant, followed in early 1997. Evil's Toy left Hyperium soon after its release, choosing to record the album Illusions with no dependent support. ...
