Mixing the Day-Glo new wave sound of the '80s with a punk-pop attitude, the Roseland, NJ-based band Cash Cash got their start in 2002 under the name the Consequence. Featuring longtime friends Jean Paul Makhlouf (vocals, guitar) and Samuel Frisch (vocals, bass), the Consequence squandered five years with numerous keyboardists and drummers joining -- and then quitting -- the band.
