After DJing for a couple of years, David Westerlund and Robin Soderman, childhood friends from the suburb of Lidingo, just outside Stockholm, assembled Antiloop in 1994. Their first EP, called N.S.F.M.C., featured the hit single "Beauty & the Beast." The club/dance duo started climbing music charts in Sweden, Norway, and France before issuing their debut and local-Grammy-winning album titled LP.
