One of the finer groups of the early-'90s acid jazz scene, the short-lived Young Disciples featured Carleen Anderson (vocals, keyboards), Marc Nelson (bass, guitar, organ), and Femi Williams (percussion, programming). Their debut single came in 1990 with "Get Yourself Together," which was followed in 1991 by the Top 20 U.K. hit "Apparently Nothin'."
