Based in Schwarzenegg, Switzerland, Oesch's die Dritten was a family group, specializing in traditional Swiss music. They released a number of albums, as well as performing in the United States, landing a 2006 support role for accordionist Heinz Haldi before being picked to represent the Basel region in the music competition Muikantenstadl.
