Melodium is a moniker of Laurent Girard, an indie electronica producer from France associated with an array of independent labels. Born in 1975, Girard made his recording debut in 1999 with the 7" single Rhythmi on the label Static Caravan. He made his full-length album debut two years later with QuietNoiseArea (2001) on the label Disasters by Choice.
