Jooks is a Danish rapper who made his solo album debut in 2009, around the same time he topped the charts with the lead single "Hun Vil Ha' en Rapper." Born Johan Forsby, he began his recording career as a member of the group Rent Mel (aka Rent Mel I Posen). Comprised of Jooks, Atilla, Mundi, Tegnedrengen, Hennesey, and Møller, Rent Mel made their album debut in 1999 with Langt Om Længe.
